Path Surveying – Pitlochry FREE TRAINING!

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Paths for All to deliver a day of training in Path Surveying for Community Path Groups, on Thursday 22nd October 2015 in Pitlochry.

We have a limited number of spaces remaining on the course and we hoped it might be of interest to you, or to someone within your path group or community.

The course will cover:

  • Path construction, function and features
  • Path surveying (theory) – providing the knowledge and skills to produce a design (bill of quantities, specifications, cross-section drawing) for getting prices from contractors for larger path works.
  • Path surveying (practical) on a local path

Lunch will be provided and the event is free to attend.

The course will be of particular interest to groups who have larger path projects in mind that will involve contractors. However we are confident that the skills and knowledge gained will be of use to anyone who maintains, monitors and manages their local paths.

Please contact Rosslyn Mills – rmills@pkc.gov.uk  as soon as possible, if you wish to attend.
