Old news can still be good news. We are indebted to Ian Ford, who takes a strong interest in Kingoodie Quarry, for these two pictures – which he sent last month but they got over-looked. One of them features one of the two broods of mallard duck that he spotted there (one of 11 and one of 15). Also his picture of cornsalad plants.
Ian is thinking of starting a group to help support this site, part of which is owned by Perth and Kinross Council, and which has a lot of natural history interest and also historical interest, quite a part from being a dramatic and attractive place to visit.
