Some people may think that now its Autumn we’ll be running less activities, however that is not the case.
There are many tasks that we’re unable to do during Spring and summer due to the risk of disturbing breeding birds and invertebrates.
- On Thursday 13th October Green Routes to Wellbeing will be at MacRosty Park getting involved in a variety of task, from weeding and pruning to clearing out the lade.If you fancy coming along and getting involved please meet at MacRosty car park at 1pm. Refreshments will be provided and we’ll finish around 3.30pm
- On Saturday 15th October PKC Greenspace Rangers will be on the Knock of Crieff maintaining the lowland heathland habitat, we’ll be removing species that shouldn’t be there and if we can we’ll be transplanting some of them somewhere more suitable on site. Booking is essential for this task to ensure enough tools are provided. Task starts at 10am till around 3pm, however you can join us when ever you like and leave when ever you like.
- If you’d prefer to be involved in something a bit more horticultural PKC Rangers and Friends of MacRosty Park will be running a task at MacRosty Park. This task will consist of pruning and weeding, getting everything looking neat a tidy. Refreshments will be provided and we’ll be meeting at MacRosty car park at 10am
