Thank You Volunteers – Lady Mary’s Walk

I have been working as a Greenspace Coordinator with PKC for almost two years. My role is interesting and varied, but often desk based.  However, in early Autumn I had the opportunity to visit Lady Mary’s Walk in Crieff.

While I was walking the 3 mile circular route from the carpark in MacRosty Park, it struck me how incredibly lucky I am.  Not only do I have a job that allows me to discover the most beautiful scenery and communities in Scotland (nae, the world!) I can do so with inside knowledge of the hard work, enthusiasm and abundance of hours that volunteers in these communities give to making our greenspaces so special.

Thank you to all the volunteers who have been working to improve the paths, habitat and views at  Lady Mary’s walk, it was a pleasure to visit.
