We were delighted to welcome 30 volunteers from 13 unique path groups to the Royal Hotel in Blairgowrie for the first Perth & Kinross Path Group Networking Event. We enjoyed a morning of sharing and an afternoon familiarising ourselves with strimmers, flail and leaf blowers.
We were inspired by the enthusiasm in the room and we are constantly impressed by the hard work and dedication that all the path group volunteers give to ensure their local paths are accessible and attractive. We are really pleased with and proud of the work that these groups do, and we hope that today will be the first of many gatherings.
Thank you to everyone for coming along to today, to BRAN for hosting, and to our speakers, Ian Richards, Councillor Bob Ellis and Zoe Gamble. Special thanks to PKC’s Peter McGrath for the practical training with the power tools in the afternoon.
We felt the day was very worthwhile, and we hope you did too.
“Networking days such as this are very valuable and we look forward to working more closely with our many local groups – sharing experiences is a very powerful way of learning to everyone’s benefit.” `BRAN
