Those who have been following the Coupar Angus Community Garden updates throughout the year, will be pleased to hear that although March sees the end of the current funding through the Climate Challenge Fund, the group will continue their work at the community gardens through a strong team of volunteers. Fantastic community support has developed since the Group was established and they have lots of ideas and plans as to how Growing and Gardening in Coupar Angus will continue.
However, they need some help – which YOU can quite easily provide….
They have applied for a grant (through the council) for some funds towards a growing Leader for the gardens – and ask that you
HELP THE COMMUNITY GARDENS – by voting through the link below.
Its a participatory fund… so the more votes they get the better chance there is of winning their funding bid.
The first page of the form allows you to vote for projects in the Carse of Gowrie, the second for Strathmore projects including the “Green Shoots for Healthy Minds” project, with the third page for Blairgowrie and the Glens projects.
EVERY VOTE COUNTS! So why not help them out?
