BRAN busy as ever!

BRAN Volunteer’s Eric, Jan, Ally, Phil, and Hannah.

It’s been another busy week for Blairgowrie & Rattray Access Network (BRAN). The group have continued to make a difference to the core path network in the area.

Tasks completed include litter picking in Davie Park, along the river Ericht and the Knockie Path. This was completed by group member Kristin Barrett. Grass cutting has also taken place with Ally Donald busy as ever keeping the grass cut on Cargill’s Way, Loon Braes, Whitelock to Darroch Woods and on to Ardblair Rd.

BRAN’S Saturday work party  tackled Riverside Park and Oakbank Road– grass cutting along verges and bits of land not maintained by the council, strimming where mowers couldn’t go, cutting back river bank saplings missed on the previous visit and litter picking the whole area.

Anyone interested in helping BRAN with its work should contact the secretary, Ian Richards.  01250 871122 or 07787 317022
