Hard working volunteers from Abernethy cleared paths in the top end of Abernethy in beautiful sunshine on Saturday. First, Pete the grass cutting Guru gave a short training session on how to use and maintain strimmers in Nurse Peatties Garden.
Once trained up, the group cleared grass, gorse and low branches from the paths making a big difference and opening up pathways for all to enjoy. It was thirsty work in the sunshine and a few beers were joyed later that evening!
A group of five made a big difference but we would like to recruit more volunteers to form a group. All training will be provided and it’s a chance to enjoy fresh air and help keep the paths clear.
