Although raining today (finally) the dry conditions have caused the South Inch pond to shrink and many people have been concerned about the swan and two cygnets.
On Wednesday, they swans decided to move to the River Tay. Luckily Perth and Kinross Council staff were at the park and assisted in their journey by stopping traffic on the busy roads to keep them safe.
Thanks to everyone who got in touch with us about these much loved Perth birds. We will continue to monitor the water levels for the other birds such as the coot and moorhen who both have young birds… I will continue to rain dance!
