It’s been six months since the First Greenroots to wellbeing group met for the first time in Perth. Based at St Magdalene’s Hill, the group have been busy helping the Rangers with tasks such as maintaining the footpath network, planting Trees and even replacing a broken stile at Hilltown Woods.

The group works with partner organisation’s such as the NHS and welcomes participants from a range of backgrounds. Participants are encouraged learn new skills and socialise with other group member’s over the groups many tea stops!

Over the winter we will be working towards our John Muir award.

Did you know we have similar projects, led by our Greenspace Rangers, in our parks and open spaces? For more information on how you can get involved please contact us
