What can I do and where can I do it?
We welcome the use of our Parks, Gardens and Open Spaces as a place for friends and family to picnic in. It is appreciated that sometimes you may also wish to bring a BBQ to one of our Parks or Open Spaces – especially in the rare occasion that the sun comes out! Find out more here
Whether it’s one of our 8 major parks or one of the many areas of green space in and around our settlements, these open spaces are managed for the enjoyment of residents and visitors, as well as for the variety of wildlife that depend on them.
Play areas – There are over 150 equipped play areas throughout Perth and Kinross where youngsters can enjoy active play and parents can meet one another.
Skateparks – There are ten purpose built skate parks across the Perth and Kinross area, which are great for skateboards, bmxes, scooters and more. These are accessible to beginners and experts alike!
Mountainboarding – There is a dedicated all-terrain boarding track at St Magdalene’s, Perth

There are many viewpoints around Perth and Kinross where you can take in the amazing scenery and landscapes.
